Two strangers... One Knot๐Ÿงฟ๐Ÿ’•

"Kabhi kabhi zindagi humse faisle nahi leti... bas humein unke faisle manzoor karne padte hain."

(Translation - "Sometimes, life doesn't ask us to make choices... it simply forces us to accept the ones it makes for us.")

Rain tapped gently against the windowpane as I sat, draped in a soft pastel lehenga, eyes locked with the reflection in the mirror. My fingers trembled ever so slightly, clutching the edges of the bridal dupatta.

Today was my wedding day.

Not one woven with love stories or fairy-tale proposals. It was a marriage arranged, built upon respect, understanding, and... uncertainty.

Downstairs, voices murmured, the scent of mogra and sandalwood filling the air. I could hear laughter, music, the clinking of bangles-and yet, inside me, a storm brewed.

And then... he entered.

Jay agnihotri.

Immaculate in an ivory sherwani, hair slightly tousled, eyes filled with a thousand unreadable emotions.

He was every bit the prince mothers spoke about, yet distant-like a dream you could see but never touch.

Our eyes met-awkward, hesitant.

"Hello..." he spoke, voice gentle, unsure. "I... I hope you're okay."

I nodded. Silence.

And just like that, two strangers stood beneath the weight of vows neither chose, but would learn to honor.

Was this the beginning... or the end of something?

Only time would tell.

Because sometimes, love doesn't knock... it simply settles in silently, like the rain outside-soft, uncertain, but destined.
